Dear members, friends and supporters, Our shop at 23 Whistler Street in Manly will open for business on 21st April 1997 at 10.00am. To mark the occasion and to thank you all for your help, we would like to invite you to our official opening party which will be held in the shop on Saturday 19th April 1997    2.00 - 4.00pm We hope you can come and help us celebrate and see the shop for yourselves! MEMBERSHIP/VOLUNTARY WORK QUESTIONNAIRE The response to our questionnaire was very encouraging and it was great to get so many offers of help from members willing to work in the shop. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered already, but we do still need to fill some gaps in our roster. So, if you want to put your name down, do so on Saturday.	CHANGE OF ADDRESS Please notify us if you have moved, so we can update our mailing list! MEMBERSHIP CARDS If you come to the party, you can also pick up your membership card or join the Food Co-op Manly, if you aren't already a member. FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES We need to form a small group that will look at how we can best organise a fruit and vegetable section. Some of you have mentioned interest and past experience in this area, so should anyone interested please ring Susanna on 9977 8890 now. SHOP RENOVATIONS Shop renovations are in full swing. We are building the separating wall, sanding timber for shelving and doing small general jobs. At the moment we are selecting tiles for the shop because we had some technical problems with the other floor covering material we planned to use. We still need more help with the renovations, so if you have some spare time and you want to give us a hand, please ring Keelah on 9948 1311 and find out what has to be done.
